SIX Upstaged By Sting!

Here I was, getting ready to post that SIX was to be "going into the recording studio", and now I'm here to say that we've been delayed - and it's all because of Sting.

Background: After our performances last year at Berklee's "Cafe 939" in Boston, we were offered a chance for a recording session with Grammy Award winning producer Alejandro (Alex) Venguer.

Unfortunately, Alex just called to cancel his trip to the Boston area because he's been booked to work on an upcoming album with Sting (bassist for The Police).

This is no doubt musical karma coming back to us for getting a gig 2 years ago in favor of J. Geils. I guess the world will get to hear Sting's next album before SIX's. Such is how it goes in this crazy world of rock and roll...

Meanwhile, we're gearing up for our big gig in Winchester on May 22nd - tickets are $175 each and expected to sell out (no, I'm not kidding...).
